Summary
This conference-report paper proposes a way to aggregate several criminal profilers’ assessments of offenders’ risk exposure and pre-crime preparation using feature-rich crime-scene descriptions. Consensus ratings are then used with classification algorithms and compared with models trained on individual expert ratings, with the goal of supporting behavioral crime linkage.
